Join Dr. Angela Grace for a 6-week workshop that uses the foundations of Iyengar yoga to help balance the nervous system and come to a state of calm. We will focus on poses that quiet your sympathetic nervous system (fight-or-flight), tone your vagus nerve, and replenish your adrenal glands when they have been working overtime. This series focuses on stabilizing standing postures, calming forward bends, energizing backbends, supported inversions, and gentle breath awareness to stabilize your nervous system, balance your mind, and bring about a sense of peace.

In this 6 week registered class, you will learn the building blocks of yoga. Standing poses, seated poses, backbends, and an introduction to inversions will be taught with a focus on proper alignment and the use of props.
All under the watchful eye of one of our most experienced instructors.
Some basic yoga philosophy and introductory level breath awareness will be covered.
Come and experience the progression of your yoga practice throughout this six week session.
